Each season, Time Capsule discovers artifacts from the past, and embarks on a quest to unearth the narratives that time forgot.
Season 1 - The Silver Chain
In the early 1990s, a cache of abandoned newsletters found its way from a safety deposit box in Minneapolis, Minnesota to the state’s historical society, where they were left to gather dust. The newsletters detailed the inner workings of a secret 1970s swingers society: The Silver Chain Social Club.
Fifty years later, TV writer and host Paul Ditty tracks down the club’s surviving members to uncover the group’s mysterious history and the ties that connected its members long after the swingers club closed its doors for good.

In his podcasting debut, TV writer Paul Ditty, a born-and-bred Minnesotan, sets scriptwriting aside to dive into The Silver Chain’s newsletters and uncover the real-life story about the group’s mysterious members and the club’s eventual dissolution.

DIVERSITY HIRE LTD
Producer
DIVERSITY HIRE LTD is the production banner established in 2021 by writer, producer and screenwriter April Shih and Jen Goyne Blake, the founding director of the Sundance Episodic Lab.
While soul-searching during the pandemic, Shih (whose credits include “DAVE,” “Fargo,” “You’re the Worst,” “Undone,” and “Mrs. America”) discovered that she wanted to cultivate a community of artists and devote herself to elevating other diverse voices. Blake, who produced over 20 labs during her time at Sundance (including with alums such as Barry Jenkins, Katori Hall, Desiree Akhavan, April Shih), wanted to find even more meaningful ways to help artists in the industry. Serendipitously they came together to establish their production company DIVERSITY HIRE LTD, founded on the core tenet of artist support.
The company’s first feature film, JOYLAND, was an official selection for the 2022 Cannes Film Festival where it won the Un Certain Regard Jury Prize. Joyland had its North American premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, received the Indie Spirit Award for Best International Film in 2023, and was shortlisted for the 2023 Oscars.

In 2015, Filmmaker and actor Jack Huston (“Boardwalk Empire”; “Expats”; “House of Gucci”) set up his production company CYSA to work with leading talent as a writer, director, and producer, with a singular vision - to help create and bring to life exceptional projects across the globe. With an extensive background in TV and film production, “Time Capsule” is his first podcast venture.
